A Los Angeles Times/USC College of Letters, Arts and Sciences poll; conducted 3/23-30 by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research (D)/American Viewpoint (R); surveyed 1,515 RVs; margin of error +/- 2.5%. Subsample of 511 GOPers and unaffiliated voters who say they might vote in the GOP primary; margin of error +/- 4.3% (release, 4/3). Party ID breakdown of main sample: 45%D, 31%R, 20% decline-to-state, 4% other. Tested: Sen. Barbara Boxer (D), '00 nominee/ex-Rep. Tom Campbell (R), Asseb.
