Subsample of 511 GOPers and unaffiliated voters who say they might vote in the GOP primary; margin of error +/- 4.3% (release, 4/3). Party ID breakdown of main sample: 45%D, 31%R, 20% decline-to-state, 4% other. Tested: AG/ex-Gov. Jerry Brown (D), Insurance Commis. Steve Poizner (R) and ex-eBay CEO Meg Whitman (R).
